Advance International Kenya

Director: Dr. Randy Wood

GRASP International began its first African school in January of 2018.  It is located in Nyamira, Kenya, a village outside of Kisumu.  The evangelical presence is strong in Kenya but pastoral training is lacking.  Pastors and church leaders are hungry to learn.  John Sheeley, pastor of North Ridge Baptist Church in Macon, GA is GRASP’s director for Africa.  All interested persons can contact John at  GRASP is investigating the possibility of beginning new seminary locations in Africa.

The Kenyan school had its first graduation in January 2019 with 17 students completing the program. It was a lively and spirit filled celebration. The photo below is Pastor Moses Omondi Odhiambo, pastor of Echoes of Mercy Church and Kenyan director of the school. The second cycle of courses began in January with 53 students.
